        The E ects of Light & Carbon Dioxide on Photosynthesis


        This virtual lab investigation will help you determine how carbon dioxide concentration and
        light intensity can affect the process of photosynthesis.
        Elodea plants were prepared and placed in beakers of water, containing different amounts of
        carbon dioxide (CO ). Lamps with different light intensities were shone on the beakers. Bubbles

        of oxygen were produced by the plants. Count the bubbles in each beaker that were produced
        over a set period of time.
